Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before downloading, subscribing to, or using the YELFiN Parent Guardian mobile application (“App”).

By downloading, subscribing to, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

YELFiN Parent Guardian is operated by Yelfin Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

• “App” means the YELFiN Parent Guardian mobile application.
• “Subscription” means a paid recurring service providing access to premium features.
• “User”, “you”, “your” means the parent or legal guardian downloading or using the App.
• “We”, “us”, “our” means YELFiN Parent Guardian.

You must:

• Be 18 years or older
• Be a parent or legal guardian
• Have the legal authority to act on behalf of any child associated with the App

The App is not intended for direct use by children without parental supervision.

YELFiN Parent Guardian provides digital tools designed to support parents and guardians, including (but not limited to):

• Monitoring and insight features
• Alerts and notifications
• Educational and safeguarding-related information

The App does not replace professional, legal, safeguarding, medical, or emergency services.

Details of available subscription plans, pricing, and billing frequency are displayed within the App or on our website.

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually).
• Payments are processed via Apple App Store / Google Play Store or other approved payment providers.
• Prices include VAT where applicable.

If a free trial is offered:

• It will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
• Only one free trial per user unless stated otherwise.

• You may cancel your subscription at any time via your app store account settings.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partially used subscription periods unless required by law.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

You agree not to:

• Misuse the App or attempt to gain unauthorised access
• Upload unlawful, harmful, or offensive content
• Use the App in a way that breaches UK law or infringes third-party rights
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the App or its content

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached.

• The App provides supportive tools, not guarantees of safety or prevention.
• Alerts, insights, or notifications may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable.
• You remain fully responsible for your child’s welfare and online/offline safety.

 Intellectual Property

All content, software, branding, and trademarks within the App are owned by or licensed to us.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the previous 12 months

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

We may:

• Update the App features
• Change pricing (with reasonable notice)
• Amend these Terms from time to time

Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You breach these Terms
• Required by law or regulation
• The service is discontinued

Upon termination, your right to use the App ends immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
